Crystal Scott, CPWA
Founder & Creator
As the founder and creator of the Accessibility Book Club, I bring my expertise as a Web Accessibility Engineer and Webflow expert to every project I undertake. Specializing in building fully accessible, visually engaging websites, I ensure conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA standards while delivering intuitive and inclusive digital experiences. With a deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA, I thrive at the intersection of technical precision and creative design.
My passion for accessibility and lifelong learning inspired the creation of the Accessibility Book Club, a space dedicated to meaningful conversations about inclusive design and accessibility. As a certified IAAP (CPWA) professional and a Bachelor of Arts candidate in Graphic Design and Media Arts with a focus on Web Design at Southern New Hampshire University, I combine technical expertise with a creative approach to foster a world where digital spaces are accessible and welcoming to everyone.
Facilitating discussions and events to enhance member engagement.
Jon Farrell, CPWA
Community Manager
As a web developer with over a decade of experience and an IAAP Certified Professional in Web Accessibility, I have helped create, adapt, and test a wide range of accessible web products in collaboration with developers, designers, and users with disabilities. I believe that the root cause of most accessibility issues for digital products stems from a lack of awareness and that, given a choice, most people would want to produce inclusive products. Because of this, I am passionate about educating others on understanding accessibility standards and giving practical advice on how to meet these standards.
Crafting insightful resources and reading lists for our members.

Veteran Australian web designer, front end developer, writer and editor. As a writer and/or editor, I've worked with the likes of UX Australia, SitePoint, Web Directions and Smashing Magazine. As a freelance designer and front end dev, I focused on building accessible websites, then worked with a number of design, UX and accessibility-focused companies in Australia, North America and Europe before joining the Knowledge Center team at TPGi, where I'm Principal Content Writer. I'm also involved with a lot of non-profit organizations and community projects, including OZeWAI, the Australian Web Accessibility Initiative.
